On the Inside:
Accompanying prisoners during their incarceration, we celebrate Mass and prepare prisoners for the receipt of Catholic Sacraments. We provide spiritual guidance, direction and support through counseling, discussion groups,
the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, 12-Step recovery programs and scripture study.
Experience has taught us that without comprehensive religious programming and mentoring, many prisoners complete their incarceration worse off than when they started.
On the Outside:
In order to be effective, our ministry must not end when the man or woman leaves the correctional facility. Most released offenders face long-standing mental health issues, a history of addiction and abuse and the struggle to find housing and employment.
Our primary focus is on the needs of prisoners while they are incarcerated, but we are keenly aware of the obstacles they face upon release.
We also seek those who wish to join in our ministry.
We will provide professional ministerial training for lay men and women seeking to be involved in prison ministry.
